Second stage

After the initial consultations of filling in the requirements form and us getting in contact with you, we will then proceed to design the site according to your needs and build a mock up site according to the information that we have gathered. This may include adding in dummy images and generic text to give you an idea of how the site will look when the live data is added. The live data will be added when you are happy with the look and feel of the site. This work in progress site will be displayed in a sub folder of a live site, of which you will be given the URL or website address, so you can check on the progress of your new site at any time you choose. When you are happy with the look and feel of the site, we will ask you for the live data that we will then upload and insert into the site. We will then ask you to check the site to ensure that you are still happy with the look and feel of the site once the live data has been added.

Responsive Website

While working on your website, we will ensure that your site displays correctly on a variety of devices, ie. desktop, tablet and mobile phone. We will test that it works as expected using several different modern browsers.

Third Stage

Once you are happy with the way the website looks, feels and performs, we will the create a hosting space on our affiliate servers to house your new website. We will then take a complete backup of the site ready for migration to its new home and then upload the backup to the newly created server space and restore the site there. We will then test the site to ensure that the site is working correctly and that all links are working correctly. When we are happy that the site is working correctly, we will invite you to visit the site and see that you are happy with the final result. There may be additional plugins added during or after for security, caching etc.

Final thoughts

The cost to build the website will be an agreed price between us and the client and will be a one off fee, unless the client wants major changes which may need to be renegotiated prior to starting the changes. The low cost of building the website takes into consideration that the client takes on the yearly hosting subscription. If the client wants us to build a site that they host themselves, the price will be substantially higher and any changes to the site after the client takes possession, will be charged accordingly at an hourly rate.

If you do take up our hosting option, we will keep your site updated from time to time throughout the year and if there is an issue that arises from updating, we will resolve this and get your site back online as quickly as possible. There is no extra charge for the maintenance, updates and repairs to the site while it is under our hosting services.
