Web Site Hosting
Website hosting is where your web site lives on the Internet. If you think about it in these terms, your hosting space is like your house, where you live, and your domain name is your house address. Your hosting, in reality, is simply space allocated on a server that has been set up and configured to house your website. There are a number of services that are required in order to host and run a website. Some common services that a server requires are Apache server, MySQL server and PHP server. An explanation of these servers are beyond the scope of this article, but the point is that in order to host a website, we need these servers installed and configured otherwise, there will be no website displayed.
